Soledad O’Brien and panel dissect Mitt Romney’s ‘mistake’

Starting Point anchor Soledad O’Brien and panel examine Romney’s message on entitlement programs, ‘safety nets’ and the fall out from his comments on the ‘poor.’

National Journal Editorial Director Ron Brownstein says, “Just to be clear, I think the core point is, when Mitt Romney said to Soledad – I’m going fix the safety net if there are holes in it. The essence of his agenda on these issues has been to retrench spending and to retrench the federal role on these issues.”

O’Brien follows up, “It looked contradictory to what we know.”

Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien airs week mornings from 7-9am ET on CNN.
