CNN TOPS MSNBC BY +29% IN THE KEY DEMO (25-54) DURING LAST NIGHT’S COVERAGE OF THE STATE OF THE UNION –Tuesday, January 24:

CNN DIGITAL SAW DOUBLE DIGIT GAINS

  • CNN — 1.054m demo 25-54/2.670m total viewers
  • MSNBC — 818k demo 25-54/2.817m total viewers

CNN Digital

During yesterday’s State of the Union address, CNN Digital saw double digit gains:

  • CNN.com page views were up 14% over the previous 4-Tuesdays with 3.5 million page views during the speech.   CNN.com page views for the day hit 44 million.
  • Video starts on CNN.com were also up 76% over the previous Tuesdays.
  • Mobile page views were up 12% during the speech and up 23% from last year’s SOTU address.  In total, CNN Mobile had 6.4 million page views for the day.
