Jeffrey Toobin talks Mississippi laws about family and victim notification

On Early Start, Jeffrey Toobin, CNN senior legal analyst, weighs in on the temporary injunction against outgoing Governor Barbour’s pardons.

Toobin says, “[Gov.} Barbour earlier in his term did some controversial pardons. Mississippi amended its laws to include this family, the victim notification. That’s a law. That’s not in the constitution. Whether that is enough to invalidate the pardon is more of an open legal question.”
