Mark Whitaker celebrates new book

Henry and Celia McGee hosted a party for CNN’s Mark Whitaker and the launch of his book, My Long Trip Home, A Family Memoir.

Brian Williams, Christiane Amanpour, Ken Auletta, Jeff Bewkes, Ken Jautz, Soledad O’Brien, Ali Velshi and many others showed support for the executive vice president and managing editor of CNN Worldwide. Whitaker’s wife Alexis Gelber and uncle Eugene McCray were also in attendance.
