CNN iReport and costumes galore at Comic-Con 2011

Do know what “Cosplay” is? Why it is the act of donning a costume like your favorite sci-fi character and is practically standard procedure at Comic-Co, duh!!

According to CNN iReporter Mark Zhen, this year’s Comic-Con ladies have really brought their A-game. After taking a spin around the convention center, he was especially impressed by the variety of costumes.

“This year’s opening day of Comic-Con was even more packed with cosplayers from your favorite comic book, video game, TV show, film or animated feature,” Zhen said. “From the tough as nails, temptresses to the sultry sirens of science fiction, this year was no exception in fulfilling your fantasy of seeing your favorite characters in action.”
