Rep. Mike Rogers, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, questioned the timing of President Barack Obama’s Afghanistan withdrawal plan Sunday, suggesting it is politically motivated.
The Michigan Republican said Obama’s plan to remove 33,000 “surge” troops by September 2012 is “concerning.”
