“They don’t want to capture high-level al-Qaeda leaders”

Former Department of Justice Attorney John Yoo, author of the so-called “Bush torture memo” tells “In the Arena” host Elliott Spitzer that killing 9/11 terrorist Osama bin Laden was a mistake since he could have been an important source of intelligence.

Yoo tells Spitzer:  “It does seem from the initial reports that a deliberately small force was sent in and there wasn’t a lot of thought given to the idea of capturing  him…This was a decision made by the civilian leadership…”
