CNN iReport: Paper Airplanes for Freedom

In 2011, CNN has joined the fight to end modern-day slavery and shine a spotlight on the horrors of modern-day slavery with  The CNN Freedom Project.

CNN iReport's latest assignment, 'Paper Airplanes for Freedom' is asking iReporters to join CNN and take a stand against slavery by creating their own paper airplanes as a symbol of freedom. After creating the airplanes, iReport is asking users to share their photos and videos of their planes, as well as to pass along their plane to a friend to continue to spread awareness of the project.

The deadline for submissions is June 15.

Cooper and Gupta discuss cell phone safety

On the eve of the World Health Organization's ruling on cell phone radiation safety, CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta unveils his own investigation into cell phone safety on Anderson Cooper 360°.  Dr. Gupta discusses safety recommendations from both manufacturers and the Federal Communications Commission for various devices, including Blackberry and iPhone.  Anderson Cooper and Dr. Gupta also discuss suggested safety precautions people can take when in low signal areas and using Bluetooth technology, and why they both prefer wired headsets for smartphones.  The WHO ruling is discussed further here.
