On Friday during the earthquake and tsunami tragedy in Japan, CNN.com set a new record for live and on-demand video starts. CNN.com had more than 60 million video starts globally, beating the previous record of 12 million which happened the day after Pres. Obama was elected on Nov. 5, 2008.
