CNN @ SXSW: Rainn Wilson Interview

This afternoon, Entertainment editor Katie Caperton sat down with actor Rainn Wilson for the first showcase interview at the CNN Grill at SXSW.  He's in town to premiere his new movie "Super" about an every-day man who becomes a Super Hero.  His interview kicks off CNN's Grill programming.  When asked about his 2 million Twitter followers, he said that he thinks social media is a good way for people to get to know him but he is cautious.

About the wrap of "The Office," Wilson said:  it's sad to see Steve Carrell go, but the show must go on.   We'd love to have Anderson Cooper as Dunder Mifflin's new boss!

SXSW Panel, Part Deaux: It's Not TV, It's Social TV

It wouldn't be SXSW without long lines and spirited conversation. At this morning's panel "It's Not TV, It's Social TV," the line was a nightmare, and a ton of people were turned away because the room wasn't big enough. So a group of "rebels" outside of the meeting room decided to form an impromptu discussion on the topic that proved to be extremely dynamic  – but unfortunately it was cut short. So, in the spirit of continuing that conversation,  CNN is hosting the original panelists, including CNN.com's Lila King and reps from Twitter, The Travel Channel and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, TONIGHT at 7p at the CNN Grill.
